That is why we have not only made the Cosmic Ultimate SL extra light, but also designed it to offer superior support and power transmission. It carries the "SSC" label - this means that it is used by many of our professional racing drivers. The upper shoe has received an update, with an extra low cut ankle area so that no negative forces can act here and with an ultra-low height of only 6.5 mm. Its Energy Full Carbon SLR outsole is also 10 g lighter than the previous top model. Even the tiniest bit helps in the mountains. The upper shoe is glued, made of ultra-light mesh material. His last has an anatomically precise heel cage and a rounded toe box. The heel "cage" integrated into the structure makes additional elements (and weight) superfluous to achieve an individual fit. Power transmission usually depends exclusively on the outsole. But we have developed a new type of upper that ensures that every single watt from your legs arrives directly at the pedals. The key to this is the overlapping construction combined with ultra-light materials. It guarantees a tight fit without any pressure points on the foot. All of this is fixed by a high-quality Boa IP1 twist lock, with micro-adjustment and quick release.
