Built for the most challenging trails out there, the Mavic Deemax Pro WTS 27.5" MTB Wheels will keep rolling true, even through the worst mountain trails your throw at them.

The hubs have both alloy bodies as well as axles, for lightweight rolling, and an ITS-4 alloy freehubs to efficiently transfers power. Sealed cartridge bearings make maintenance easy and the bodies are alloy for weight savings as are the axles. The rear 12x150mm spaced hub is convertible to 12x142mm with the included adaptors. Boost versions are also available.

To match the tyres perfectly, the rims have been developed with very specific internal widths. The rear has 25mm internal diameter, while the front is 28mm. Both feature hookless profiles for greater strength and full UST tubeless compatibility. The rims make for one of the best strength-to-weight ratios available.

Mavic builds these wheels with their unique Zicral alloy spokes. They are lighter than steel, yet maintain the strength and stiffness. The weak point of normal J-bend spokes is removed with the use of straight-pull spokes, allowing for less spokes to be used and keeping the wheels lightweight. There are 24 front and rear with a 2 cross pattern in front and Mavic’s Isopulse pattern in the rear. The spokes are bladed for even more rigidity and double butted, giving an even lighter weight.

Paired perfectly to the rims, the front and rear tyres have different widths and compounds. The front Claw Pro XL tyre has a 2.5” width with a single super soft rubber compound. This gives enormous grip in the corners. The rear tyre is a Quest Pro XL in 2.4” and has dual compound rubber to balance rolling speed and grip.  The Quest Pro XL also features Guard 2 dual-ply casing technology for better support and greater protection.
