PF30A represents a Cannondale-specific standard designed for their 73mm wide bottom bracket shells. This CeramicSpeed kit facilitates the installation of Quarq and SRAM cranks into compatible Cannondale frames. The bearings from CeramicSpeed come pre-installed in two cups and are connected through the shell using a spacer tube. Available options include both Standard and Coated Bearings. Both variants feature super round CeramicSpeed balls rotating within hardened-steel races. The Coated Bearings offer an additional feature: a 3-micron thick metallic layer applied to the races, enhancing their hardness and smoothness. This coating reduces drag and extends the operational life of the bearings.
